Former MI5 Director Supports the Police State

Following the murder of Lee Rigby, Dame Stella (former Head of MI5) has given her support to the the UK’s version of “See Something, Say Something.”  According to the Daily Mail, Dame Stella said that “further terror attacks on the UK were inevitable unless the country became a ‘police state’.”

This shouldn’t come as a surprise as more and more government and elected officials embrace the establishment of Big Brother and continue to attack liberty, privacy, etc.  What IS surprising, however, is what Dame Stella had to say about the rise of the “police state” just a few years ago.  From the London Telegraph:

“It would be better that the Government recognised that there are risks, rather than frightening people in order to be able to pass laws which restrict civil liberties, precisely one of the objects of terrorism: that we live in fear and under a police state.”

Talk about doing a complete 180.

So here’s the take-away: the only way to ensure your safety is for you to surrender all rights and allow us to turn your home into a prison.  That’s the only way for the all-powerful benevolent government to keep the boogeymen away.  Because terrorists hate freedom.  So if we take away all of yours, then they will love you.  That’s how it works, right?

Multiple Movies Debuting With White House Terror Attack Plot

It’s interesting how more and more movies are coming out with a similar plot involving domestic terror attacks on the President/White House/Washington.  Here are a few examples:

1. White House Down (Release Date: June 28, 2013): A Secret Service agent is tasked with saving the life of the U.S. President after the White House is overtaken by a paramilitary group – IMDB

2. Olympus Has Fallen (Release Date: March 22, 2013): Disgraced former Presidential guard Mike Banning finds himself trapped inside the White House in the wake of a terrorist attack; using his inside knowledge, Banning works with national security to rescue the President from his kidnappers – IMDB

3. GI Joe Retaliation (Release Date: March 28, 2013): The G.I. Joes are not only fighting their mortal enemy Cobra; they are forced to contend with threats from within the government that jeopardize their very existence – IMDB

The timing of these type of films seems ominous given everything that is going on right now (DHS buying 1.6 billion rounds of .40 cal hollow points, government pushing more restrictive gun laws, mass shootings, domestic use of drones, pending economic collapse, etc).

LAPD? More like Judge Dredd

I have a question for you, dear reader:

Note: This isn’t conspiracy theory.  I am simply asking a rhetorical question.

Since we are presumed innocent until proven guilty, let’s pretend for a second that Chris Dorner was in fact innocent. The guy was fired for exposing corruption. What if he knew some stuff that could get a lot of higher ups in trouble? Is it possible that this entire story was fabricated? After all, there hasn’t been any evidence produced that proves he posted that manifesto online. Haven’t seen any evidence showing that he is guilty of what he is accused of. Furthermore, the LAPD was behaving like gangster vigilantes shooting first and asking questions later (as evidenced by them shooting two women without warning). If you were driving around, an innocent man, seeing legions of police officers ready to shoot you dead instead of arrest you, how would you respond? As a former marine and cop, you’d definitely be armed. If confronted, you would definitely return fire.

The cops versions of events is that Dorner was spotted in Big Bear and that he fired first and fled the scene. What if the exact opposite happened (which seems like a legitimate possibility) and the cops rolled up guns blazing? Entire situation makes a lot of sense when you consider how everything ended. They intentionally set the house on fire despite having it completely surrounded with militarized police armed with military grade automatic assault rifles. Dorner had a decision. Burn alive or exit the house and be shot dead.

The fact that people aren’t outraged at the LAPD’s actions on record during this manhunt shows how much we are already descended into tyranny.

SHTF Moment Approaching?

When it comes to any other issue (gay marriage, abortion, illegal wars, TSA, etc) Americans for the most part rarely (if ever) actually draw a line in the sand. The 2nd amendment is a very different issue though.

It seems that the issue of gun rights is a very polarized issue and one that has the potential to escalate. It seems that our government is hell bent on creating a civil war – they might make an attempt to disarm Americans, but such an attempt will be met with fierce and violent resistance.

Unfortunately the American Revolution 2.0 plays directly into the treasonous government’s hands. For years, DHS, FBI, CIA, etc. has characterized red-blooded, liberty loving Americans as potential “domestic terrorists.” If a civil war does erupt, the 99% of Americans that are completely brainwashed will view true American patriots as the enemy (just as the majority of Germans turned on their neighbors that resisted in Nazi Germany). This gives the government the perfect pretext to implement martial law (those 1.6 billion rounds of .40 cal hollow points that DHS purchased make more and more sense).

The fact that the German Bundesbank is moving to repatriate their foreign held gold reserves (after telling the NYFed 3 months ago that they would never do that) and now the Netherlands is moving to do the same, makes me wonder how much longer we have left until we reach that SHTF moment. Economic recession/depression almost always comes right before war. So the question remains, if Central Banks don’t trust each other with their real money (gold), then how bad is the economy about to get?

Why the Economy Ain’t Recovering

This is why the economy hasn’t budged since 2008 (contrary to what the TV, BLS, WH, etc. tells you). Thanks to Fed policies (ZIRP/NIRP, trillions in excess liquidity, etc.) banks are paid (and incentivized) to not lend. Difference between loans and deposits has surged to an all-time high of $2 trillion.

Notice where the two lines (which historically have always moved together) began their dramatic divergence. Clue: Right when the economy imploded and the Fed swooped in to the rescue.

Fiscal Cliff: What To Expect

Fact is that the vast majority of Americans are completely ignorant when it comes to economics. The average-joe is still focused on who will win X-Factor is that the vast majority of Americans are completely ignorant when it comes to economics. For anyone that actually cares, here’s a good breakdown by Bloomberg regarding the Fiscal Cliff.

Global depression/war pending and top military officials relieved of duty

I don’t subscribe to the December 2012, end of the world fears.  But I do, however, find what is happening today to be very interesting.

For months economic data and news was blatantly manipulated day after day which was done, in my opinion, to solidify Obama’s reelection.  Now that the election has come and gone, the need to manipulate has disappeared.  This point is exemplified by the fact that the following day the stock market was down nearly 300 points and the MSM began frantically talking about the looming fiscal cliff (yet said nothing about it for all of 2012).

Today war within the Middle East appears to be inevitable.  Israel is now stirring the pot on three different fronts: Iran, Syria, and Gaza.  The fact that the Muslim Brotherhood has become such a force in the Middle East doesn’t bode well for tensions.  Israel continues to be the aggressor yet continues to receive full support from the West.  Should Israel officially wage with Syria and/or Iran, China and Russia will be brought into the mix.

Which brings me to another interesting observation.  It’s interesting how right as election passes, all of these controversies regarding the military bubble up.  Let’s review.  Pending war in the Middle East?  Check.  Pending global financial crisis/depression?  Check.  Now seems like a perfect time to fire very prominent leaders of our military and intelligence community.

This will not end well.
